This pot does all the things you expect it to do. It heats evenly, it's durable, it's dishwasher-safe, and it's shiny as hell. Honestly, we wouldn't mind working with it if it considered home cooks even a little: the handle's famously uncomfortable, the straight-sided form factor is hard to pour from, and the price is completely out-of-whack with the market.
Hard to disagree with Bryn, I use this pan often, but lack of pouring lip really sucks. The material is great, it’s easy to clean, and definitely shiny! However, I believe you can now get a better All Clad version with the D3 Everyday line, which has a pouring lip and improved handle, or D5 line, that has a pouring lip but same handle.
