The first thing we saw when we opened the box to this absolute beefcake was a little slip of paper telling us "not to salt our water before it's fully boiling". Or use metal utensils in the pot. And how to avoid rainbow stains.
That sure does set a bad tone for a brand that prides itself on its construction. Not only will their competitors happily tell you how practical and easy they are, but Made In seems to think their pans should be used as gently and infrequently as possible so they stay pretty instead of being useful.
Listen... pitting happens. Scratching happens.
This isn't jewelry, it's a tool (and an absolute beefcake at that). If you're worried about pitting, skip those extra couple (borderline useless) layers of aluminum and use 316 steel for the cooking surface instead. Don't put that effort onto your customers — especially at this price.
Come on, Made In.
