M'steel Carbon Fry Pan (9.5")

A classic pro pick. The beeswax it comes in is a pain, but taking the time to remove it is well worth it.

I used this style of pan for years in restaurants and I still think they're just the greatest. So reliable and way lighter than cast iron with a nice smooth finish.

Having a great big, multi-functional pan like this is absolutely lovely.

  • Super versatile.
  • Carbon steel is like cast iron without all the weight.
  • Seasoning gets super slick on a nice smooth pan like this.
  • Beeswax coating sucks.
  • Handle isn't very comfortable.
